Rivershed

RiverShed is primarily a country originals and covers band with a sprinkle of rock/pop/blues, featuring singer/songwriter Samantha Mooney and hailing from the Gold Coast.

Samantha is an award-winning songwriter and our band features many songs from her albums ‘Paper Memories’ and ‘Dive In Deep’. We also love to cover great songs from artists like Bonnie Rait, Lady A, The Eagles, The Chicks, Kasey Chambers, Keith Urban, Fleetwood Mac, America, Queen and even a bit of John Farnham.

RiverShed features Samantha Mooney on lead vocals/harmonies, Bruce Whalan on rhythm guitar/vocals, the young and very talented Mikky Whalan on lead guitar/vocals, Kim Brown on the bass guitar, Timo Sutinen on drums and Samantha’s sister Melissa Jolley providing wonderful harmonies and the occasional lead vocal.

RiverShed love to have fun and get their audience up on their feet! They have performed at big events such as the Gold Coast Show, Mudgeeraba Show and more recently at ‘Rockin the Rainforest’ as part of a lineup that included the great Paul Kelly.
