The Northern Rivers finest, female-focused artists are going on tour! Catch them at The Citadel in Murwillumbah on Friday December 15th for a magical night to remember.

ABOUT

Sky Eater is the dreamy lovechild of water spirit Chelsea Skyeater and dub soldier TK Bassdread, and together with their all-female horn section, they’ve been bringing their unique trip-hop/dub/dnb sound & trailblazing tech to Australia, NZ and the UK since 2018. Take some shades of Sade, moments of Morcheeba, slices of Salmonella Dub, fragments of Fat Freddy’s and a dose of heavy DnB, and you’ll have a decent impression of Sky Eater’s sound. Think reverb-soaked piano, dreamy vocal melodies, sizzling jazz-infused beats and soulful lyrics with sparkly jungle influences.

Hayley Grace & The Bay Collective is a raucous 9-piece hailing from sunny Byron Bay and featuring some of the region’s most prominent vocalists and multi-instrumental talents. Led by Hayley Grace, the band embodies the spirit of funk & soul. Their live shows are loud, fun, cheeky and overflowing with energy. You feel this band when they walk on stage. Featuring a full horn ensemble atop an epic rhythm section and with six lead vocalists among their ranks, The Collective are full power.

Tanuki Band is a rhythm and blues group from Bellingen. With soulful vocals and bluesy melodies, this band knows how to get a crowd moving. Their high energy performances and catchy tunes are sure to get you on to the dance floor. With a diverse range of influences, including classic R&B, rock and roll, soul, and even a touch of jazz, Tanuki Band always brings their A-game, leaving audiences wanting more.

From Brunswick Heads to Bermagui, the five Sister Cities tours span genres from hip hop to alt country, folk and soul and each feature three regional acts. As part of this new initiative supported by MusicNSW, each act will headline a show in their own town and support each other on two additional dates. Communities across the state, get along to support your hometown heroes and find new favourites.
