The Uki Festival ~ Postponed due to Weather ~
Details
The Uki Festival has been postponed due to potential high rainfall across the Northern Rivers region on Saturday October 22nd and Sunday October 23rd.
A new date will be announced in early November, so follow The Uki Festival 2022 on Facebook for all announcements.
All the team at The Uki Festival are sorry to cause any disappointment, as so many people have been looking forward to this festival and so many have worked so hard to make it happen, the response has been amazing. Thank you to all involved!
The Uki Festival is about Resilience. Part of resilience is being flexible with the sometimes unpredictable weather, and responding accordingly. Another part of resilience is being responsible for each other’s safety and well-being. No one can predict the weather with 100% accuracy, but where there is a potential risk for public safety we must err on the side of caution.
So although we are disappointed, and this has been a difficult decision, we also want to keep it in perspective.
The Uki Festival is a fabulous Not-For-Profit initiative run by volunteers, and it is still going to happen!
Until then and on this rainy weekend ~ listen to MUSIC | create ART | DANCE like no one’s watching | Enjoy a FEAST | and SURVIVE
There will be a new date announcement in early November.
PLEASE NOTE * Ticket holders keep your tickets for the next time *
*PLEASE NOTE ~ The Uki Festival has SOLD OUT.
