Come along and learn the basic skill set for Psychological First Aid in Murwillumbah

This project recieved grant funding from the Australian Government.

Psychological First Aid is an international best practice approach that helps people affected by emergencies to reduce their initial distress and to move towards calming and coping.

This includes helping people to feel safe, connected to others, calm and hopeful, able to access physical, emotional and social support, and to feel able to help themselves. Red Cross offers a free 4-hour workshop for community members to strengthen their local resilience and to build their skills and awareness of Psychological First Aid.
