Is your enjoyment for dairy stopping you from becoming plant-based?

Do you want to learn how to make different nut mylks, natural and fruity yoghurts, sour cream, yellow cheeze, blue veined cheeze, feta, ricotta, paneer, and cheddar?

In this workshop, Marc will show you how to make delicious, healthy, dairy-free, plant based, vegan dairy that is good for your health, the animals and the planet. This workshop teaches you how make conscious choices and take control of your health. Whether you have given up dairy for health, ethical or environmental concerns, we have you covered.

Our vairy (vegan dairy) options are organic, sugar free, dairy free, chemical free, preservative free, wholefoods based and (mostly) raw. This class is ideal for beginners, home cooks and chefs alike.

The most common question we get is “Can we take our vairy home?” The answer is “Yes”!

All vairy workshops cost $200 per participant. This includes a tutorial, a recipe booklet, all ingredients and equipment used during the day, the vairy products, a hands-on experience and finishes off with a taste-tester.

The workshop is on a rural property in the heart of Uki, Northern Rivers, overlooking Mt Warning. Our farm is an animal sanctuary and is run on the principles of healthy sustainability, environmental awareness, a zero-waste policy and self-sufficiency. You will be able to enjoy the rolling mountains and fresh rural air here, and before you go, pop in to say a quick hello to our rehomed and rescued farm animals.

This workshop would suit vegans, vegetarians, anyone wanting to transition to a plant-based lifestyle, anyone wanting to improve their gut health, chefs wanting to incorporate vegan cuisine into their restaurants, naturopaths, foodies, dieticians, lactose intolerant and health-conscious people. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people. We will work in small groups so there’s usually plenty of banter and laughter and time for one-on-one interaction.

At Back 2 Earth, you will be treated to a truly indulgent, fun and informative day. This is a perfect day out for yourself, a thoughtful gift for a loved one, bring your partner, or get a group of friends together.

Our workshops run from 11 am (please arrive 15 minutes beforehand) to 3 pm at:

90 Malabar Avenue

Smiths Creek (Uki)

Come as a stranger, leave as a friend!

FAQs:

• What are my transport / parking options for getting to and from the event?

Free parking

• What can I bring to the workshop?

We’ve cut out disposable plastics, so please bring your own jars and containers (at least 10).

What can I wear?

Please bring an apron, tie back long hair, dress appropriately for the kitchen and wear closed-in shoes.

• Do I have to bring my printed ticket along?

Nope! You can show your ticket on your phone.

• Is my registration ticket transferrable?

Yes, but please let me know so we can be in contact with the person taking your place

• What is the refund policy?

A refund is happily given if there is 2 weeks’ notice. The Eventbrite fee is non-refundable

• Are children permitted?

We love having kids at our farm, however, the workshops are not an ideal place for little people. We suggest getting a babysitter and having the day off.

• Will tickets be available on the door?

“No” as the events sell out prior, and we also need to know how many people to cater for. We cap numbers to ensure everyone has a great time and it’s not too crazy as we want you coming back. We strongly suggest buying tickets early to ensure you don’t miss out.

• I haven’t received my ticket. What do I do?

An automated email is sent upon purchasing tickets. If you don’t receive it, it could be for a couple of reasons. Firstly, check the spam folder as sometimes they get stuck there. Other times, when in a rush to purchase (!), some accidentally enter their email address incorrectly. If that’s the case, drop us an email and we’ll search and resend. But all good, you’ll be in our system.

• I’ve got a couple of other questions, what should I do?

Email me at: plantbasedworkshops@protonmail.me or give Marc a call on: 0423022198.

Please note: If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to postpone or cancel a class. Every effort is made to contact and accommodate guests in the event of cancellations. If a class is cancelled or moved to a date and/or time you are unavailable, you are entitled to a full refund.
