Women’s Slow Sewing Circle – Chillingham

Date

Wed 17th August 2022, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location

1469 Numinbah Rd
Chillingham NSW 2484

Details

Lets take time out to sit together in circle and listen to the stitches as they move through the beautiful natural dyed silk fabric.. . .

This will be the first week many where we come together to sit out in nature to create a natural wall hanging, using my beautifully natural dyed silks. Or bring along your own embroidery or project that you have been working on. Sip herbal tea, share a snack and re-connect.

Women’s gathering circle is an ancient practice that has been around since the birth of time.

This will be a time to gather in the forest to bring us back to our natural roots. Creating a space for women to come together to sing, sew and using craft work as a way to mindfully bring us back to a place of stillness and connection to the deep feminine hidden within us.

I will be supplying the fabric, cottons and everything that is needed. It will be a very rustic and unique wall hanging. I will also be supplying a lovely herbal tea and snacks for us to share. This will be an ongoing weekly event.

Cost: $20 per session

I look forward to seeing you there and seeing what we can create.
