Details

Adam Pippos is a Gold Coast-based artist with a unique style and creativity all his own. An art he’s honed since wood carving with his grandfather, Adam is skilled in metal work, welding, and upholstery and is dedicated to delivering eclectic pieces, some more abstract and others designed to be functional, and architectural furniture pieces.

With a love for the martial arts, some of Adam’s most iconic pieces are influenced by samurai and warrior swords which are truly representative of his skill and craftsmanship. From small objects to life-size figures and furniture pieces, each wooden and metal sculpture has been hand-crafted by Adam himself, using chisels, chainsaws, and polish as his creative tools. Much of the wood that Adam uses is recycled hardwoods, many of which are over 100 years old. Get ready to be inspired by unique works and an incredibly empowering story, Adam welcomes the community to enjoy his exhibition and learn about the art of crafting metal and wooden sculptures.

This incredibly unique and inspiring exhibition will feature a collection of upwards of 100 unique, wooden, and metal sculptures at Kirra Community and Cultural Centre from July 6 – 16 July, 9:00 am-5:00 pm daily.
