Yin Yoga – Nourish and Restore FIRST CLASS IS FREE! Mondays & Tuesdays at 6pm

Ready to unwind, reduce stress & nourish your body, mind & soul? Yin is a slow paced style of yoga, full of juicy longer held floor based shapes that target the deeper layers of the body to release tension, tightness & improve overall mobility, circulation & wellbeing.

Yin yoga benefits everyone & provides a nourishing way to support finding balance within the fast pace of life. Each 75min class also includes guided meditation, gentle breath practice, myofascial release (self-massage with tennis balls) & beautiful community vibes with a cup of tea after.

💛 This is an intimate & supportive environment that’s inclusive of everyone, whether you’re new to Yin yoga or experienced. Classes are kept small, with a max of 10 participants so everyone can work at their own level with my support. All props & mats are provided but feel free to bring a water bottle and a pair of socks in winter.

💛 Bookings are essential & your investment is $20 when purchasing a 4 pass (To be used within 8 wks) or $25 for a single class.

➡️ Need more info? If you’re thinking “Is Yin like other types of yoga?”, “How will it benefit me?” or “Yoga isn’t for me, I’m not flexible enough”, then let me share a bit more about what to expect….

What Yin Yoga is:

⭐️ An experience where your body can stretch and release in the areas that need it, especially if you’re tight from sport or training, have an injury or spend alot of time sitting for work. The perfect counterbalance to a busy life and/or high intensity exercise.

⭐️ Encourages relaxation and mindfulness, which can help to reduce stress and anxiety. By slowing down, connecting with your body and focusing on the breath, you can activate the parasympathetic nervous system. This not only calms the body and mind but also supports immune system function, improved digestion, mental clarity and focus.

⭐️ Works with your connective tissue (Fascia) within the body. Imagine fascia as a supportive web that wraps around your muscles, bones, and organs, like a flexible, protective armor. This vital connective tissue keeps your body stable and allows you to move smoothly and with ease. Taking care of your fascia is essential for maintaining your overall wellbeing and feeling agile and free in your movements.

⭐️ Let’s also not forget that Yin and everything else included in my class feels really good! Prepare to leave the studio feeling blissed out, more spacious, deeply relaxed, nourished and energized for the week ahead.

What Yin Yoga is not:

⭐️ It’s not like any other form of yoga. There’s no downward dog, standing or load bearing postures. It’s all about experiencing the stillness of longer held floor based shapes.

⭐️ Yin is not designed to raise your heart rate or provide a cardiovascular workout.

⭐️ You don’t need to be “good at yoga” or flexible to come to a yin class. All abilities are welcome with options to modify to suit your body.

⭐️ Yin is not an experience that will have you competing with the person next to you. You’re invited to come as you are and to embrace yourself, your body and whatever it needs at that time.

🌺 HERE’S WHAT A FEW OF OUR LOVELY YIN YOGI WOMEN ENJOY ABOUT THE CLASS 💕

“ALLLLLL OF IT!

I love the peaceful and complete nervous system balance feeling I experience at the end of every session.

I love the little bit of all the senses…discourse, movement, music, touch tea, etc. I love that its restorative and not too intense”

“I love that the practice is tied in with intention to encourage a mindful and focused practice that connects body, mind and spirit. The pranayama breathing settles the mind and body ready for the session. And I love the myofascial release, and the hip, spine and thoracic shapes.”

“I love how each week is focused on a different body area and theme and how we start each class with a specific pranayama. I love the music you play and the vocal dialogue that goes with each class. Love that we work on the fascia, releasing different parts of the body and how I feel during and at the end of class”

“Tania holds such sacred space and combines all sorts of elements to make the experience every week so much more than a yoga class. I love it!”

Looking forward to meeting you and please feel free to send me an email if you have any questions.. hello@taniaboyd.com
