About

Sling Yoga combines energising hatha yoga postures on the mat and in the sling. We focus on the proper alignment of traditional asanas, and apply the use of the sling where one can go deeper with less effort.

As the sling takes some or all of your body weight, we tend to go to a whole new level with core stability and strength, comfort circles, trust and surrender. This practice allows you to generate body heat, develop flexibility, create strength and enhance body awareness. As you progress, you will find a greater ability to focus on correct alignment or intension, or just softening into the grace or length of a pose. The many benefits of inversions are so much more accessible in a sling and soooo much fun!

Suitable for every body. No experience necessary – this is not acrobatics. All levels welcome!
