Creating a values-aligned culture

Are you keen to build a culture that reflects company or personal values? Do you want to know how to create synergy between your beliefs and those you work with? Do you need to find your tribe or can values alignment be taught?

Our guest speaker at the SBW Tweed August Hub is Lorna Savage of LS Properties. Lorna will address key initiatives that support a healthy team culture and enable the empowerment of staff to make decisions in line with company values.

Working in the real estate field can be a tough gig, one shrouded with obscurity however, Lorna has actively worked to create a conscious, transparent, and honest company culture. Come along, ask the questions and return with valuable tips to utilise in your own workplace.

About Lorna:

Lorna prides herself on being the “anti-agent”! Real estate is not about property, it’s about people.

Her preference is to work outside the typical real estate box, ensuring her clients are treated with transparency and honesty. “My clients are sophisticated buyers and sellers who know what they want! It’s my job to facilitate the decision-making progress to reach their goal”.

She is well known for going the extra mile, and maintains energy and sheer determination to get your sale or purchase negotiated and over the line.

With personal experience moving a family twice internationally, building and renovating investment and personal homes, Lorna has a keen understanding of real estate from both the vendors and buyer’s perspective. It’s a daunting task for vendors and buyers alike, but with integrity there is always a good solution; no “smoke and mirrors” are needed.

Living in the community she represents; Lorna takes great pride in assisting fellow residents with the sale or purchase of their home!

Lorna has lived on three continents and has been married for 35 years. She is a Mum to Brent and Joss and grandmother to four little ones under three which include twins. Life is very full and busy… Her latest passion and way she unwinds is gardening the 12 acres they just bought up on Farrants Hill.

LS Properties sells in excess of $120million worth of homes per annum with a staff of seven who have all been with her for most of the 8 years she has been in business. Her team is absolutely everything! “These are the people I trust to make daily decisions with our brand AND our clients hard earned investments”. Our business is only as healthy as our team! Their wellbeing is a huge priority as part of our business plan.

Ticket price includes a light selection of Husk snacks. A cash bar will be available for coffee and drink purchases.
