Our social channels

Engage with the official social media channels for the Tweed Tourism Company to hear our latest news, share your inspiring images and tell us what’s happening by tagging us in posts across Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.

We use these channels to create conversations, inspire visitors, update media and build a tribe of Tweed followers.

We largely harness user-generated content and shared updates from industry. To help us spread the Tweed word and pitch your own news, find and tag us at:

Maximise your social media

Connect with us to learn more about our social media program and talk about how to maximise your own social media effectiveness.

Tourism Australia also offers some really helpful resources including a tips and tricks guide, a simple how-to fact sheet
and a great video series on maximising social media for your business.

Visiting Social Media Program

To drive interest in visiting the Tweed and boost engagement with our social media channels as well as those of our wonderful tourism operators, TTC hosts social media and digital influencers to experience the region and share stories and images with their followers.

If you are interested in being hosted in the Tweed on a visit, we would love to talk to you. Please email Louise Terry with your media kit or visit request and note that while we are not able to provide fees for in-region visits we do consider covering travel costs and/or itinerary costs as part of an approved visit.

We wish to acknowledge the Ngandowal and Minyungbal speaking people of the Bundjalung Country, in particular the Goodjinburra, Tul-gi-gin and Moorung – Moobah clans, as being the traditional owners and custodians of the land and waters within the Tweed Shire boundaries. We also acknowledge and respect the Tweed Aboriginal community’s right to speak for its Country and to care for its traditional Country in accordance with its lores, customs and traditions.
