VOTE NOW FOR THE TWEED’S MURWILLUMBAH AS 2024 NSW TOP TOURISM TOWN 

The Tweed‘s bustling art deco town of Murwillumbahhas been announced as a finalist in the NSW Top Tourism Towns Awards, with public voting open now through to 13 May 2024.

The annual New South Wales Tourism Industry Council awards program selects finalists across three categories – Top Tourism Town, Small Tourism Town and Tiny Tourism Town – with winners in each category across the state to be decided by public vote. 

Finalists are selected based on a range of criteria, including provision of excellent visitor experiences, a strong commitment to encouraging tourism and increasing visitation, as well as having a focus on local collaborations to maximise the visitor economy.   

Sally Scott, General Manager of The Tweed Tourism Company, said that Murwillumbah was a worthy finalist in the Top Tourism Town category, given the quality and diversity of its unique tourism offerings and the incredible resilience and innovation of its business community.

Voting is open now and closes on 13 May 2024. 

Once the NSW Top Tourism Award winners are announced, they will go on to compete against Australia’s other States and Territories for the title of Australia’s Top Tourism Town.
